HOSS Invades New Paris Speedway for Saturday Night Battle

The Hoosier Outlaw Sprint Series makes its 2007 debut at the New Paris Speedway Saturday night as the Pavement Kings with Wings will be part of a full show of racing including street stocks,  mini stocks, front wheel drives and the figure 8 cars.

     The HOSS 2007 schedule takes off quickly as races are scheduled weekly through June and into July before a weekend off.  The 410 cubic inch methanol injected racecars will race on small quarter mile tracks like New Paris, where the action gets tight and aggressive.  The series also will tackle the super fast speedways of Salem, Winchester and the Illiana Speedway in Schereville.  Wide open and pure speed dominate these speedways.

     Looking to defend his 2006 Championship is Greg Wheeler of Columbia City, Indiana.  Pairing his title from 2004, Wheeler takes the Technical Controls Solutions/Sterling Express/Allen Trailers Sales number 7 into battle again this season against formidable opponents from across the Midwest.  Challenging this Saturday will be Jimmy McCune of Toledo, Ohio, Jonathan Kettlewell from Englewood, Ohio,  2001&2002 HOSS Champ Ron Koehler, as well as 2005 titleman Tim Cox of Park City, IL.  Cox is a particular fan favorite at New Paris, inviting himself to dinner along the backstretch and enjoying life at New Paris.

     Geoff Kaiser of Fort Wayne has a new car for 2007.  The new 71k holds blue and white paint with Geiger Developing, Inc./Scalgraphics holding sponsorship court again.  Track record holder at Anderson Speedway and the Plymouth track, Kaiser looks geared up for the title this year. 

Also moving into the scene in a big way is Steve Elliott Motorsports and pilot Jason Fuller.  Look for the 2005 Rookie of the Year to run fast and smooth every time out in 2007.
