The Hoosier Outlaw Sprint Series has started off with a furious opening two nights of action. New Paris Speedway opened the season with Tim Cox of Park City, IL, taking the win over Hank Lower and Ron Koehler. This past Saturday night the Series returned to Salem Speedway where USAC star Aaron Pierce claimed the silver trophy over Cox and 2006 points champion Greg Wheeler.
The Pavement Kings with Wings will do battle Saturday at Fort Wayne’s Baer Field Speedway during Seyfert’s Employee Night 30 lap feature. Cox is leading the points but will miss Saturday’s event due to family commitments. Just behind Cox is a pack of racers including Wheeler, Koehler, Jason Fuller, and Jerry Caryer all eager to notch another win at Baer Field. A full field of cars and great competition from all over the Midwest is expected.
Pit gate opens at 2:30, Grandstands at 4:30, Qualifying at 5:30 and Hoosier Outlaw Sprint Series racing at 7:30. Pit passes are $25, pit passes for age 10 and under are $15. Adult grandstand tickets are $15, ages 12-7 $5, under 5 free.
